Eliade's conception of archaic man is to me flawed. The effort to describe the thinking of archaic man through anthropology and archeology, in the end reflects only the thinking of the contemporary age. When Eliade writes of archaic man he really writes of us now.

As such it resonates here in this sonic contemplation on cycles, patterns and sacred geometries, and the distortions we encounter when we seek to commune with the divine.
